LAM-PTKes Assessors Conduct Field Assessment for Re-Accreditation of D-3 Nursing Study Program at UNP
Padang - In an effort to improve the quality of education in the field of nursing, the D3 Nursing Study Program at Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), the LAM-PTKes Assessor Team (Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education in Health Indonesia) conducted a field assessment in the context of re-accreditation. This activity lasted for three days, from August 20 to 22, 2024, at the UNP Faculty of Psychology & Health (FPK) Conference Room, Tuesday (8/20).
The field assessment was conducted by two assessors from LAM-PTKes who have high competence in the nursing field. The first assessor is Ana Zakiyah, S.Kep.Ns., M.Kep., who comes from Bina Sehat PPNI University Mojokerto. She is known to have extensive experience in nursing and health education management.
The second assessor was Ns. I Ketut Alit Adianta, S.Pd., S.Kep., M.S.N., from the Bali Institute of Technology & Health, who is also an expert in nursing and health education.During the assessment, the assessors conducted a comprehensive evaluation of various aspects that support the quality of education in the UNP D3 Nursing Study Program. Starting from the curriculum, supporting facilities, quality of teaching staff, to the governance of the study program is the focus of the assessment.
UNP Rector, Krismadinata, Ph.D, expressed his hope that this assessment can provide the best results for the UNP D3 Nursing Study Program, and become a motivation to continue to improve the quality of education. “We are committed to continue to provide the best for students and society,” he said.
This activity is also an important moment for the UNP academic community to show their commitment in providing quality education in the field of nursing, which is ready to face the challenges of the health world in the future. With this re-accreditation, it is hoped that the UNP D3 Nursing Study Program can continue to produce graduates who are competent, have integrity, and are able to compete in the world of work, and make a positive contribution to the development of health in Indonesia.
