ADVANTAGESThe English Literature Study Program has received an A accreditation and is currently preparing to obtain AQAS international accreditation. English Literature Study Program has the highest passing grade of student input (input) accepted at Padang State University. The human resources of the Study Program are currently supported by 48 lecturers with excellent academic qualifications, where 13 permanent lecturers have expertise in accordance with the demands of the English Literature Study Program. The thirteen permanent lecturers consist of 10 doctors and 3 masters degrees. Three lecturers already have functional positions of professor / professor. English Literature Study Program graduates have spread widely in various national and international employment fields as translators and interpreters, literary writers, English literature lecturers, generalists, directors, professionals in the Indonesian television industry, English teachers, staff of the hospitality industry, banking, aviation and others. etc. The needs of society and the world of work for these professions are always increasing, both for government and private institutions, thus opening up very wide job opportunities for graduates or alumni.
