Coaching Department Student become Soft Tennis National Referee
Apart from being a coach in sports, students of the Department of Coaching can also participate in being part of the match in line with the profession that has been regulated in the 2022 Sports Law, where referees are an important component in sports. In addition, the philosophy of “no referee no game” is the key to the implementation of sports matches.
Robi who was born in Koto Langang 25 years ago who is a student of the Coaching Department, currently also a student of PPG PJOK, was officially certified as a national soft Tennis referee held in Jakarta July 8-10, 2024. After passing the training, Robi was assigned to his first duty at the national championship which was held on July 11-13, 2024. On this occasion Robi also led the Final party of West Java vs Central Java men's team match. This proves that Robi deserves to be a top talent in the Soft Tennis sport.
The Faculty of Sport Sciences always provides a place for students to excel and contribute to the sports they are interested in besides being athletes, coaches and referees, there are many other professions that can be owned by students in exploring their potential at Padang State University such as Masseur, Physiotherapy, Event Organizer, Match Analysis, Match Control, Phycal Trainer, Personal Trainer and many more.
