FEB UNP welcomes Academic Visit of Arshad Ayub Graduate Business School UiTM Johor
Padang - The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Universitas Negeri Padang welcomed the visit of Arshad Ayub Graduate Business School (AAGBS) Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Johor Malaysia on Tuesday (16/7/2024) at. This visit was a reciprocal academic visit from AAGBS UiTM with the aim of strengthening inter-institutional cooperation in the fields of education and research, especially S2 and S3 programs.
The visit of a group of 12 students from Arshad Ayub Graduate Business School UiTM Johor led by Dr Siti Khadijah Alias as Rector's Helper was warmly welcomed by Dean of FEB Prof. Perengki Susanto, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D. accompanied by Vice Dean 1 and Vice Dean 2 as well as study program coordinators in FEB.
“The discussion took place in the FEB UNP conference room to explore various collaboration opportunities, including twinning programs or dual degrees, guest lecturer programs, inbound student mobility and joint curriculum development,” said Prof. Perengki through a written statement received by UNP Public Relations, Wednesday (17/7/2024).
Furthermore, the Dean of FEB who is one of the UNP Professors revealed that this visit is expected to lead to positive and sustainable collaboration in improving the quality of education and academic contributions in each institution that are mutually beneficial for both institutions.
“For academic activities, a mini conference will be held with the theme Global Activities through Cultural Empowerment on Tourist Destination. UiTM MBA program students present group presentations in the form of case studies which are the final assignment of the Global Business Strategy course to an audience consisting of students of the FEB UNP Master of Management program, “he added.
