Guidance Counseling of UNP Officially Holds the Collaborative Curriculum with Faculty of Educational Studies UPM Malaysia

Padang- The students from Guidance Counseling, Faculty of Education of Universitas Negeri Padang already holds curriculum collaboration by exchange the students, lecturers between UNP and Universitas Putra Malaysia (UPM). The goal of this collaborative curriculum is to improve the development of educational counseling under technological progress.

The curriculum collaboration and students exchange by holding the conference and workshop of the joint curriculum held for two days from Thursday to Friday (July 4-5 , 2019 ) at Auditorium FIP UNP. The conference presented Prof. Dr. Aida Suraya, Prof. Dr. Sidek Mohd Noah from UPM, AND Prof. Dr. Nevivarni as a speaker.

Meanwhile, the opening of the conference at the UNP FIP attended by Rector of UNP, Prof. Ganefri, Vice Dean, 1 of the UNP FIP, Dr. Hadiyanto, M.Ed and UNP FIP environment officials on Thursday (4/7). Rector of UNP, Prof. Ganefri welcomed the curriculum collaboration and student and lecturer exchanges conducted between the Department of BK FIP UNP and the UPM Faculty of Education Assessment and attended by hundreds of participants.

On that occasion, the Rector of UNP, Prof. Ganefri said that for curriculum collaboration with foreign countries did not have to come to a partner university, because it could use e-learning. Especially, soon internet service of UNP will not only used at the UNP, but in all places in Indonesia as long as they are registered as UNP students.

"I appreciate the Department of guidance counseling, which use the international class for the advancement of educational counseling in the future," said Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D. Head of the Conference Committee, Prof. Dr. Firman Ms. Konsr also said that FIP UNP has two international class study programs namely Counseling and Education Guidance. Encouraging this matter, it will include the two international classes as members of AUN-QA. (Public Relations of UNP)
