Step Forward of Bachelor of Physics (S1) of FMIPA UNP with Credit Transfer Program at UPSI Malaysia

Padang- Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) has stepped forward with the credit transfer program of Bachelor of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) with three students from Universitas Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). The step forwards of the UNP is to realize its vision and mission as one of the leading universities in Southeast Asia.

The signing of the Memorandum of Outstanding between UNP and UPSI Malaysia has already done in November 6, 2018. The chairman of the Implementation Team of International Class Lecturers and Students Exchange of FMIPA UNP in 2019. Furthermore, Dr. Ahmad Fauzi said to public relations of UNP explained that this is the first step to prepare study programs at FMIPA UNP to achieve BAN-PT Superior Accreditation with nine standard formats requires the program of presence of foreign students and lecturers in the study program of Bachelor Physics Education Study Program (S1) has started on Wednesday ( June 26, 2019).

Meanwhile, Dr. Ahmad Fauzi also explained the number of courses can take in five subjects with 15 credits (SKS) in one semester. Universitas Negeri Padang will also accept three UPSI students who will study at UNP for the first semester in the Bachelor of Science Physics Education (S1).

“Alhamdulilah, the International office affairs give facilitated in the program which will be held on 1st semester of 2019/2020 for batch 1 and 2nd semester of 2019/2020 for batch 2,” said Ahmad Fauzi.

On that occasion, Dr. Ahmad Fauzi also revealed that his party responded with mission of UNP towards an internationally reputed university (World Class University). The university can accomplish with internationalization support for all academics, including lecturers, students and education staff.

" The credit transfer program as one of the form of student exchange program which provides students with knowledge and experience related to the academic atmosphere and partner of the universities. We expected the credit transfer program to develop international insights for students to improve their ability”, said Dr. Ahmad Fauzi. (Public Relations of UNP)
