Padang—The Inspector of the ceremony of National Resurgence Day (HARKITNAS), Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D lead the ceremony with peacefully and smoothly. “Rise to Unite” as the theme of the National Resurgence Day on Monday (May 20, 2019). The Ceremony of HARKITNAS also attended by the leaders, lectures, education staff and students of Universitas Negeri Padang.
Rector of UNP, Prof. Ganefri reads the remarks of Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of the Republic of Indonesia as the director of the commemoration of HARKITNAS 2019 said that the 111th commemoration of National Resurgence Day to maintain the national unity. Furthermore, more than a century, we have recorded a record of respect and appreciation for national pluralism. We have proven that we are capable to maintain the unity of languages, ethnicity, religions, cultures and the geographical landscape in Indonesia. "Ramadan is the right moment to maintain the unity, reunited from the estrangement of differences of opinion and thinking about the interests of the grandchildren of the Indonesian nation," said Prof. Ganefri at Football Field, Faculty of Sport Science, Universitas Negeri Padang.
Ramadan will lead the Muslim to get a lot of reward with abandon the behavior such as hostility, hatred, hoax, and slander. At the end of Ramadan, we hope we can imitate Mahapatih Gadjah Mada, who has a clean heart and maintaining good relationships between fellow Meanwhile, Rector of UNP, Prof. Ganefri invited the academicians of UNP to be able to forget the difference opinion in the presidential election of 2019. The National Resurgence Day was interpreted as a form of self-improvement by keeping fasting.
"The commemoration of National Resurgence Day was a form of self-improvement to maintain the connectivity among others. We have to build a thread strand and forget the differences,” said the Rector of UNP, Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D. Meanwhile, Prof. Ganefri also said that Ramadan as one of the forms of revival to maintain the friendship and manifest themselves into dignified human beings. “We have to avoid the hostility, hoax or mutual hatred.
