Padang—Universitas Negeri Padang holds prayer Eid Al-Fitr 1440H/2019 by presenting the Chairman of Indonesia Ulema Council of West Sumatra as a preacher, Gusrizal Gazahar on (Wednesday, 5, 2019) at the Rectorate field of Universitas Negeri Padang. Rector of UNP, Prof. Ganefri, Ph. D also gave a speech before the Eid prayer in front of a thousand congregation .

The event starts at 8.00 until 09.00 o'clock at Rectorate UNP. Many preaches messages delivered by Gusrizal Gather especially about the science of Fiqh through Halaqah Syaikh Sayyid Sabiq author of Fiqh Al-Sunnah. Furthermore, he also told his experience while studying with the Chair of Al-Azhar Fatwa dubbed Malik Al-Fatwa (King of Fatwa), Syaikh Athiyah Shaqr.

Meanwhile, Buya Gusrizal Gazahar explained his persistence in the babaliak basuarau program (back to Mosque). The program has started at Gusrizal Gazahar mosque at Jalan Baypass Loweh, Mandiangin Koto Selayan, Bukittinggi. The mosque has been built with collaboration between congregations since 2003.

“For anyone who wants to go to the mosque, we can meet from Monday to Thursday at Bukittinggi, and the congregation, community could meet me there,” said Gusrizal Gazahar.

On the other hand, Gusrizal also explained about the rewards that he received during his lesson like in wandering through knowledge from many teachers (MaSYAYIKH). He admitted that the most influential in developing the scientific talents was Syakh Ismail Al-Adawiy and Syaikh Athiyah Shaqr. Furthermore, Fiqh Al-Sirat one of the sciences that are outside the formal concentrations of lectures. Gusrizal Gazahar has learned about Fiqh Al-Sirah with an Egyptian Scholar Syaikh Muhammad Al-Ghazali. He took the postgraduate program in IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang in 2003 and now he completes a Doctoral program at UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Pekanbaru and IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang. (Public Relations of UNP).
