Rector of UNP Visits Malaysia and Produces 52 Corporate Cooperation

Padang – Rector of UNP, Prof. Ganefri and the group of UNP visits Malaysia to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 52 companies. Since the appointment of the Head of Malindo Director of MBCC Asia, Prof. Dr. Dato ’Sri Alex Ong as Chairman of Alumni representatives of Universitas Negeri Padang in Malaysia, the relationship between the UNP and MBCC well-established and smoothly.

 “The visits of the Rector of UNP, Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D is to create an employment for UNP alumni in Malaysia. A total of 52 companies in Malaysia will provide a short training opportunity for students to improve their competencies and various fields needed by the industrial world," said Dato 'Sri Alex Ong, Wednesday (7/7). As a cognate country, Indonesia and Malaysia have in common, especially with West Sumatra. On that occasion, the meeting of the Rector of UNP with the Chair of the Steering Committee of MBCC Asia Prof. Alex Ong also witnessed by the Honorable Senator (Head of DPD). Dato 'Seri Haji Abdul Halim (1) bin Abdu Samad at Wisma Malindo Number 8 Lorong Pandita 4 Connaught 56000 Park, Cheras Kuala Lumpur, on Tuesday (9/7).

"MBCC Asia has facilitated the collaboration of UNP with 52 companies in Malaysia can utilize the UNP alumni as an opportunity to improve their competence to work in allied countries of Malaysia," said Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D. In collaboration with 52 companies, the Rector of UNP, Prof. Ganefri expressed his gratitude to Prof. Sri Alex Ong. He said that his visiting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, also to strengthening cooperation with industrial companies.

"Mr. Senator, I would like to thank you for the support that made it possible for the group and me to collaborate with 52 companies. Besides our visit, we also conducted scientific tours to various universities in Malaysia," said Rector, Prof. Ganefri. Meanwhile, the UNP groups arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport , and greeted by the MBCC Malindo Asia and continued with a dinner at Wisma Malindo . (Public Relations of UNP)
