The name of Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) became known among of the college community especially when the Vice-Rector III of UNP, Prof. Ardipal received the Best Organizing Award Certificate in the Field of Student Activities in the 4.0 Industrial Revolution Era from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) at the Ministry of Research and Technology Building on Friday (December 14).
With the creativity and innovation of student activities in 2018, UNP was awarded by the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs (Dirjen Belmawa) from the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education especially because of its successful on organizing the Energy-Saving Car Contest and various other national student forums.
The Vice-Rector III of UNP, Prof. Ardipal, accompanied with the Vice-Rector IV, Prof. Syahrial Bakhtiar reminded students to always do various innovations for the progress of UNP, namely on building the academic capacity.
When informing the Best Organizing Certificate on Monday (December 17), Prof. Ardipal stated that the achievement of the 2018 Student Affairs Organizers from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education was inseparable from the direction and support of the Rector of UNP, Prof. Ganefri, along with the Deans and Vice-Deans within UNP.
"We specifically gave our highest gratitude to the entire academic community of UNP for making student activities throughout 2018 run smoothly and successfully," he said.
In addition, Prof. Ardipal hoped that the lecturers and the leader faculties on UNP will continue to assist and guide their students. The Best Organizing Award for Student Affairs in 2018 is the second activity of the Kemenristekdikti in 2018. The event took place on Friday (December 14).
