Padang -- The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Republic Indonesia (Kemeristekdikti) appreciated the success of Universitas Negeri Padang in reporting the implementation of programs, activities and budgets in 2018.
In the Submission of Results from Work Unit Monitoring, Evaluation and Performance of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education in first quarter 2019 was held by the Secretary General of Kemenristekdikti on second floor Auditorium Building, Jenderal Sudirman Street, Jakarta, Tuesday (April 23, 2019). Furthermore, Prof. Ganefri, represented by the Vice Rector 2 of UNP, Syahril Ph.D has awarded the Public Service Agency State University (BLU PTN) with the 1st best report on the implementation of budget program, activities and budget in 2018.
This event was attended by the Minister of Research,Technology and Higher Education of Republic Indonesia, Muhammad Nasir, leaders of the legal entity PTN (BH), BLU PTN and Satker and also fourteen coordinators of the Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDikti). Furthermore, Sekjen Kemenristekdikti RI, Ainun Na'im also announce Universitas Negeri Padang, as the first best award, Universitas Negeri Semarang as the second best award and Universitas Negeri Yogyakatya as the third best award.
“I would like to say thanks to the leadership of the faculty in UNP, institute, BPAKHM, BAK, and BLU for the hard work in making reports to Kemenristekdikti. Kemenristekdikti appreciated UNP as the best 1st and this award should trigger the academic community and also tendik of UNP,” said the Rector of UNP, Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D via WhatsApp on Tuesday (April 23, 2019). Before reaching the 1st Best Report Card, for the PTN BLU category in the implementation of Programs, Activities and Budgets in 2018, in the 2016 UNP Ranking 88, but now UNP ranked 26 out of 4400 states/private universities, Institutional Accreditation and UNP already Accreditation (A).
In 2019, Rector of UNP, Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D managed to get the highest funding from the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DRPM) from the Kemenristekdikti from 12 LPTK. Furthermore, Prof. Ganefri believes that the UNP will be one of the superior universities in South East Asia in 2020.
"As long as international class accreditation has been accredited in AUN-QA, UNP can be on the same level as UI, UGM, ITB and UNAIR," said Prof. Ganefri.
“I hope that the technical implementation of the development of Unit for Career and Entrepreneurship must be better,” said Prof. Ganefri. The ability of Rector of UNP, Prof. Ganefri as a leader of Universitas Negeri Padang is proven to be great by being an activist in the fields of tennis and the head of the faculty of engineering (FT) in two periods and also Prof. Ganefri as the former of the head of Coordination Kopertis Region X (Public Relations of UNP).
