The industrial revolution 4.0 is being rolled out and widely discussed in the world and in Indonesia that is why the Rector of Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) on various occasions always wanted to add alumni insight. For this reason, during the Graduation on Tuesday (today - red), we present the Vice-Chancellor of the Education University of Sutan Idris (UPSI) Malaysia, " the Rector, Prof. Ganefri said in his office on Monday (December 10). The Rector, Prof. Ganefri said that the industrial revolution 4.0 was a relevant theme in the face of the current changes that is why the Vice-Chancellor of UPSI, Prof. Dato 'Dr Muhammad Shatar Sabran, will present a scientific speech with the theme "Strategy for Developing University Resources in the Era 4.0”.

"The emergence of new technologies in data science, artificial intelligence, and industrial made changes in how we work, how we communicate, and how we obtain information," he said. Furthermore, he added that the change that was happening, for example in the education, health, and other systems was enabled to produce new jobs and shifts to the old jobs. It is necessary for us to map the new jobs that enhance competitiveness and more innovative learning systems in the field of education. According to him, the breakthrough on research and development are needed to support the industrial revolution 4.0. The qualified human resources are the main factors to support the industrial revolution 4.0.
